WHY? Too many times the racer that wins at small events but places 20th at larger races will place too high on overall standings. This will give the winners of large races the point spread they deserve. It pays to podium.
Final standings will be determined by a racers best 10 races in the 1999 season. If less than 10 races are attended by a racer all races submitted, up to 10 will apply in final standings.
WHY? To properly score active racers you must have a common denominator.
This points system is simple and a racer can easily keep track of their own score if they want.
The points system is not perfect but will reflect upon the best racers in the world right here in California.
